Technique Tuesday

Rubber Band Stamping

Take a look at the seaweed. Do you see the lines all over it? Here's how it was done.

You need a brayer that is rubber, not foam.

Pull the wheel away from the handle.

Add several rubber bands by twisting them around the brayer.

Snap the wheel back into the handle.

Ink up the brayer with different colors of ink. Roll the brayer over the paper from front to back. Roll again without reinking and your ink will be lighter and give you dimension.

Uses several colors to form your background. I was

making sea weed, so I made mine blue and green.

You can add images on top of your background.

Use a die to cut out paper. I cut out three of these and

used them on my card.

Pretty easy right? Check back next week for another Technique Tuesday.

Note, this is not a Stampin' Up image.
